Kouei Industries (Canada) Inc. (KIC) is committed to solving residential & industrial plastic & scrap tire waste problems large and small in an economically meaningful and environmentally responsible manner. Kouei Industries is proud to be creating convergence between solid waste recycling and renewable energy. An established commercial leader, KIC provides economically viable and reusable raw materials derived out of waste rubber, scrap tires and plastic products. KIC is privately held company engaged commercialization of technologies for the conversion of plastic & scrap tire waste materials into marketable, commercial products with a proven technology.
Both pyrolysis recycling and the gasification recycling process turn wastes into energy rich fuels by heating the waste under controlled conditions. Our technologies are designed to handle almost any waste product imaginable, mixed or unmixed. This includes whole tyres, all types of plastics, PVC, vinyl, shredder residue, biomass and infectious biohazard medical waste. All our systems are fully self-sustaining (depending on feedstock), designed around our customer's unique and site specific applications that meet and exceed any requirements regardless of the materials we are processing.
Products and Services:
ECOLUS™ SK Pyrolysis Recycling System - The ECOLUS™ SK is a proprietary, medium-scale pyrolysis industrial plant with a simple design concept. Features that reflect its simplicity include construction from recycled steel, 2-person staffing requirement, batch processing (as opposed to automated or continuous feed), ease of operation, and speed of assembly/disassembly. The design helps to maintain low costs for production, transportation and operation. Kouei plans to benefit the end-use customers in keeping margins low throughout the supply chain and under-cut the competition. The ECOLUS™ SK Dry Distillation Pyrolysis process is the only technology of its kind to operate purely on the fuel oil produced by the system as it does not utilize the syn-gas to fire the pyrolysis process. Our unique design makes the ECOLUS™ technology the safest and most stable technology available.
